great access to parks and waterfront attractions in alameda

I enjoyed my time here, especially because the views at Shoreline Park and the Marina Park were beautiful and just a short walk away, making my city strolls even more enjoyable. it's always nice when you're close to such green spaces. While the hotel does have a kitchenette in each room, which is a great feature for those planning longer stays, I found that it would benefit from offering a bit more in terms of kitchen supplies.

We had a great time visiting Oakland, exploring the restored theaters made me feel like I was in a classic movie. The spacious room was perfect for our family, including older children, giving us room to relax after our busy days.

In my wife’s opinion, the hotel could really benefit from having a family lounge area where kids can play safely while parents unwind. It would make our stay much more enjoyable.

However, the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen area was disappointing, as it was missing essential items like dishes and coffee, which are expected in a kitchen suite. Additionally, the bathroom towel holder was falling off the wall, and the grab-and-go breakfast area was completely empty when I left in the morning.

the stay was mostly fine. the kitchen area had everything I needed for my cooking, which made my trip much easier. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for visiting family. i appreciated the effort they put into maintaining the space.

I stayed here for 2 nights and was so impressed by how clean it was! Staff were super nice, especially Gregory at the front desk—he really went outta his way to help me out. So keep that in mind if you're traveling with a pet.
